A sign of the times that Winnsboro is in a growth spurt is the current construction of the PROVIDENT COMMUNITY BANK in the Wal-Mart Center on US Rte 321Bypass. Grand Opening coming soon; they just got the roof on....ta daaaa!(See a photo page for a snapshot of the bank while it was under construction.)
Another recent GRAND OPENING was held at the FINDERS KEEPERS a second-hand (thrift) shop owned and operated by MaryGail Douglas. FK is found on Kincaid Bridge Rd. in Winnsboro. Being an avid "thrifter" myself, I stopped by and found a delightful shop with gently used everythings sporting pricetags that reflect a time/Price reduction. Everything's in such great shape and the prices are sure to keep MaryGail in business a long, long time. Kudos, MaryGail and Welcome! I'm still willing to put in some time there behind the counter.
